Overcoming hurdles faced by previous would-be developers of this high profile Sydney CBD location, ICD negotiated an almost unanimously-supported agreement with the 15,000-strong membership of the City Tattersalls Club. Calling on the skills of our trusted architectural consultants at Elenberg Fraser we have the initial exciting plans for the redevelopment of the airspace above this 120-year-old club. Currently in Stage 1 Development Application (DA) with Sydney City Council, the proposal consists of the City Tattersalls Club’s rejuvenated premises, complete with restaurant, ballroom and conference facilities, will occupy the lower levels of the new development, with a public gym, 100-room-plus hotel and approximately 267 apartments to be added above. This high profile redevelopment will cement the future vitality and prosperity of the club and introduce a dynamic and sophisticated residential offering to Pitt Street and Sydney CBD.
